Prague Part 2

Saturday and Sunday Marty didn't have to work so we had the opportunity to explore Prague as a family.

First tourist activity: crossing the Charles Bridge

The shop were I bought myself ear rings, and gifts for our mom's

Rubbing the golden Jesus Altar, for good luck, on the bridge.

Entering the old city:

One of many glass shops

Prague Castle Gardens

Art wall in Castle Garden garden.

Birds and fish- the boys loved seeing the wild life.

Can you see the peacock up in the tree?

Ice cream break

This picture doesn't do justice to highlighting the grade of the road. Marty had to push two big boys up hill for about a 1/2 mile to get to the Cathedral and the main castle grounds. This was tough work! Or first stop was to re-hydrate. In a cute little square.

The Castle Guard

The Cathedral

Prague was having the Three Day Walk for breast cancer!

Look at the little dog riding under the stroller!

The Prague Castle is considered one of the biggest castles in the world, more castle exploration...

Marty took us to the most amazing restaurant. It had an in-door bouncy house, lego table, toys cards to ride, a trampoline (on the front patio), and the food was amazing & the views were even better!!

A cocktail and hours o'douvres in play area

A view of the Charles Bridge form our table

Jack made a friend- he was a guest at the wedding that was taking place next to our table at the restaurant.

Funny fountain

Walking back to out hotel at sunset. Such a beautiful time of night. A Big bonus for the Seattlites- blue skies!

Sunset on our private roof top at the hotel- What a great day!

Sunday: starting the day off with a U.S.A favorite- Starbucks!

Mural

The playground on the water

Enjoying the view from the playground on the water

R & R

Excited we found a nice lunch location on the water

Cheers

Martin's cool artsy shot.

Our camera was as tired as we were. We explored more but these are our last 2 pictures. First, the boys in front of the astronomical clock. Second, Old City Square by the clock.
