Milestone Party

On Saturday night Uncle Jim & Aunt Betsie had their "Milestone Party." They were celebrating Jim's 60th birthday. Betsie's 55th birthday, and 34 years of marriage. The party was at their house in their back yard and barn. The weather was perfect and fun was had by all!!

Their yard was the perfect place to take a few family pictures. Too bad the boys would not cooperate. Jack would not even smile.

Ask Jack to take a picture with Uncle Ben and he is all smiles!

Our attempt at getting a picture of all the children

Louisa's 2nd Birthday

Happy Birthday Louisa!

Jack & Bryce had tons of fun at cousin Louisa'a Birthday Party. The boys and I drove to West Linn,Oregon, a suburb of Portland. We made it just in time to party with Louisa. We loved staying over-night at The Stark's house after the party. The cousins had so much fun together!

Mad Scrapper

Bryce Just turned one, witch made me realize that I have some serious scrapbooking to catch up on! I spent the whole day working on his baby book. I only have pictures capturing 0-4 months, so much to do so little time...

Soccer

It's that time of year: Soccer Time! Jack is on his first little soccer team. The program is through the YMCA. The team meets every Thursday to practice and scrimmage. There are no real games for this little team of 3 and 4 year-olds, just practice. Jack really seems to enjoy it though.

Wooden Boat Festival

We took a day trip to Port Townsend for the wooden boat festival. We met up with Marty's dad A.K.A Bobo, Julian, and Susan who were in day 1 of a week long sailing trip.

A healthy snack: elephant ears= fried dough with sugar and cinnamon. And a smoothy for the boys.

Bryce was trying out his walking skills and mastering his balance in Crocks

The sunset was beautiful. This little playground on the water was the perfect back-drop for taking pictures of busy boys!

Later in the evening we met up with Marty's aunt & uncle, Christine & Ken, and enjoyed a treat at the old-fashioned soda fountain.

Bryce's 1st Birthday

On Saturday September 5th Bryce turned one. We planned to have a small party, but some how it grew into a duck themed bash.

Bryce's first cake:

What's this?

Oh, this might be good

I need a bigger bite to understand this

Oh boy! That was great!

No more smiles unless I get more!

We filled our plastic pool with balls and plastic ducks. It was a hit!

The big kids were really into opening the gifts. Bryce really enjoyed the books he got, he looks serious because he is making reading sounds

Music in the pool- thanks Ava and Aidan!

We love our birthday boy!

Thanks to all our friends and family who joined us on this special day!
