More Present Fun

We we arrived at Sunriver late on Monday night. Bobo, Jiji, Ben & Bumpy were waiting with Christmas Cheer & more gifts for the kids!

Christmas Day

The boys, even our dog Tucker, waited at the top of the stairs before coming down the see what Santa left.



Wow- the boys must have been great, Santa left them a kitchen. We're still not sure how he got it in the house, we think maybe he used the back door!



This is Jack's "Oh My Goodness" face. This present is a remote control digger that he had been asking for for weeks.



What a happy boy!!



Brycie takes after Mommy, he cleans up as he opens presents. Here Bryce is putting his wrapping paper in the recycling bag!

Christmas Eve

We had a very mellow Christmas Eve. Marty fried a turkey, and we enjoyed a delicious meal. After dinner the boys made cookies for Santa, opened one present each, Christmas jammies, and we went to Christmas Eve service at church.

First Over Night

Jack had a buddy stay over night. Brock, Jack and Bryce enjoyed a movie & popcorn before bed.

Trimming the Christmas Tree

We chose our tree by blind luck. We went to Home Depot and chose a Noble Fir tree that was still wrapped in a net. When we got it home, we discovered it was a Siamese twin. There was one trunk, and 2 trees. The main tree was full height, and a small tree was growing from the single stump. This made it very difficult to put in the tree stand. We put the small twin side facing the wall & it looked really nice once it was decorated!

The boys had the best time trimming the Christmas tree. They loved using the step ladder to hang ornaments!

Santa Train

We took the kids on their first trip in the Santa Train. The train leaves the station in North Bend, and takes travelers a few miles down the track to meet Santa, have cookies & hot coco, and then return to North Bend for a fun filled outing! Bryce was terrified of Santa, but was some how tricked into sitting on Santa's lap for a quick and blurry shot.



The night before at the McKinsey holiday party Jack was a huge Santa fan, sitting on his lap, cheering for him, and chatting it up. Jack wasn't keen on sitting on his lap, but had no problem asking for a remote controlled digger. Jack reluctantly sat on Santa's lap for a blurry family picture.



The Sharma's enjoyed the trip so much last year that they invited us along for the fun this year.
